Kenneth Maxwell is currently working on two books under contract with Harvard University Press:

>> Rio from the Ground Up (Cambridge, Mass. and London: The Belknap Press of Harvard University Press, 2009)

He is also completing the first critical edition in Portuguese of Recueil des loix constitutives des colonies angloises with Bruno Cravalho, Gabriel Rocha and John Huffman:
Nações Imaginadas (São Paulo: Companhia das Letras, 2008).
