Mobility, Society and Governance in North America
El Colegio de México, the Universidad de Las Americas in Puebla (Mexico), the University of Notre Dame, Harvard University, the University of Montreal, and the University of British Columbia have joined efforts to create a North American consortium of institutions of higher learning for the purpose of promoting the mobility of students of Social Sciences and the Humanities between these institutions within North America.
The Universities:
- Founded in 1878, the Université de Montréal, with its two affiliated schools, the École Polytechnique and the HEC Montréal, is now the largest university in Quebec and the second largest in Canada.
- Only 30 minutes from the heart of downtown Vancouver, the University of British Columbia holds an international reputation for excellence in advanced research and learning.
- The Universidad de Las Americas is located in Puebla, Mexico, one of the oldest cities on the North American continent, dating back almost 2500 years.
- A prestigious Mexican institute of higher education, El Colegio de México specializes in teaching and research in the fields of social sciences and the humanities.
Eligibility:
Continuing undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.
Dates:
Students may participate for one semester in either the fall or spring.
