Travel Grants for Graduate Students DRCLAS offers a variety of travel grants for dissertation research and internships in Latin America, as well as limited funding for conference participation. Term-Time Travel Grants The DRCLAS Term-Time Research Grants support students whose thesis, dissertation or thesis-equivalent research requires travel during the academic year. Preference is given to students completing final stage thesis and dissertation research. Deadline: October 15, 2012 Term-time Grant ApplicationSummer Research Travel Grants The David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies supports student research on Latin America and the Caribbean through summer research travel grants. Grants are awarded every year to students conducting summer research requiring travel to Latin America and the Caribbean or related research sites within the United States. Research proposals are accepted from all disciplines, but must be directly related to the region. Who is Eligible? Undergraduate and graduate or professional students conducting research related to Latin America. Preference is given to advanced students conducting thesis or dissertation research. Conference Travel Grant Application Summer Grants for Independent Internships DRCLAS internship grants are intended for Harvard undergraduate and graduate/professional school students who have already obtained Latin American-related internships and seek funding to help cover basic expenses such as transportation, housing, and food. Who is Eligible? Undergraduate and graduate or professional students partaking in an internship in the U.S. or Latin America. Students applying for funding to cover the cost of a language course or a program fee are not eligible.
